The Hidden Sound of Spaces

Especially for the Art Trail Manawatu, the Snails Artist Run Space Collective are exploring the aural possibilities of its own footprint. A hum amplified in a nook, a vibration bouncing around a cranny - carpet speaks, walls sing and corners moan.

The Hidden Sound of Spaces is a two day installation by Bek Coogan, Kirsty Porter, Sarah Bingle and Mirjim De Oude.

The installation will be complemented with a live performance of sound as part of the Saturday night of the trail, with special guests Band Sensations and Elise Bishop.

Looking for Paradise

Creative Colouring Book Party.

Come join this great social event take few hours off adulting, see some beautiful artwork, met the artists behind those works, and have a great time.

Coloring allows you to be creative even if you’re not the “creative” type.  There’s no starting from scratch here.  The designs have already been created from my paintings; all you need to do is choose your color scheme and go!  There are no rules with coloring.  You don’t have to be Monet or Picasso to make your very own masterpieces.  Examples of shading techniques, color blending, and plenty of examples to give you inspiration.

Food & drink will be provided, you'll get a copy of the my colouring book (hence the cost of this event) plus there'll be two new bonus designs from new works exclusively for this event. Pencils & pens, and lots creative materials provided.

$45.00 per person payable on the day, RSVP to Tammie Riddle (places are limited)on trose.artist@yahoo.com or Facebook message.
